3.1 _L_o_a_d_i_n_g__P_l_u_g_i_n__M_o_d_u_l_e_s
The loading of SGImeeting SGItools Plugins can be configured
by setting this environment variable:
_S_G_I_M_E_E_T_I_N_G__E_X_T__W_B__P_A_T_H
This variable points to the location of the plugin
libraries on the system. To disable loading of all
plugin modules, set this variable to "" (empty string.)
It is not necessary to set this variable if you
installed the plugin libraries in the default location.
3.2 _S_c_r_e_e_n__a_n_d__V_i_d_e_o__I_n_p_u_t
The SGItools Screen plugin can be configured by setting
these X resources in the user's $HOME/.Xdefaults file:
_S_G_I_t_o_o_l_s._s_c_r_e_e_n_C_a_p_t_u_r_e_S_m_a_r_t_C_l_e_a_r_D_e_f_a_u_l_t: [ off | on ]
Screen Capture objects have a "SmartClear" option that
controls whether annotations are automatically erased
when the screen image changes. The default for this
option is "off". If you prefer that all Screen Capture
windows have SmartClear turned on by default, set this
resource to "on". Note: it is still possible for the
user to manually turn SmartClear off for individual
Screen Capture Objects.
_S_G_I_t_o_o_l_s._s_c_r_e_e_n_C_a_p_t_u_r_e_W_i_n_d_o_w_I_n_i_t_i_a_l_B_e_h_a_v_i_o_r: [ none |
lower]
Setting this resource to "lower" tells the screen
capture tool to lower the main whiteboard window before
displaying the screen capture rectangle. This is useful
when trying to capture a large area of the screen, or
any area of the screen which is obscured by the
whiteboard window itself. The default value of this
resource is "none".

_S_G_I_t_o_o_l_s._s_c_r_e_e_n_C_a_p_t_u_r_e_W_i_n_d_o_w_S_h_o_w_B_e_h_a_v_i_o_r: [ none | lower ]
Setting this resource to "lower" tells the screen
capture tool to lower the main whiteboard window when
the user requests an update of a screen capture image
*and* the capture rectangle overlaps the main
whiteboard window. The default value of this resource
is "lower".
The SGItools Screen and Video plugins can be configured
by setting these environment variables:
_S_G_I_T_O_O_L_S__F_A_S_T_E_S_T__D_E_L_A_Y
The SGItools Screen and Video Input plugins have an
update delay timer. When a user selects the "Fastest"
setting, a preset, short delay time is used. This
preset delay time can be overriden by setting this
variable to an integer value in milliseconds, which
must be greater than zero.
Note: values less than 200ms are not recommended.
_S_G_I_M_E_E_T_I_N_G__E_X_T__D_I_S_A_B_L_E__L_I_V_E__V_I_D_E_O
Setting this variable will disable the "Live Video
Image" button in the whiteboard user interface. This
is advisable on networks where bandwidth is limited.
_S_G_I_M_E_E_T_I_N_G__E_X_T__D_I_S_A_B_L_E__L_I_V_E__S_C_R_E_E_N
Setting this variable will disable the "Live Image From
Screen" button in the whiteboard user interface. This
is advisable on networks where bandwidth is limited.
3.3 _S_y_m_b_o_l__P_a_l_e_t_t_e__P_l_u_g_i_n
The SGItools Symbol Palette plugin can be configured by
setting this environment variable:
_S_G_I_M_E_E_T_I_N_G__I_M_A_G_E__P_A_T_H
- 3 -
This variable points to the location of the Symbol
Palette directory.
Set it to any directory path containing folders or
image files which you wish to have access to while in a
conference. If this variable is not set, the Symbol
Palette will display a preinstalled set of images.
